About Matt

I have been professionally operating as a Local 600 member since 2007, primarily credited as "a" camera/Steadicam. These projects have afforded me the opportunity to develop a wide variety of skills. Whether that means working with a Russian Arm team and managing those dynamics or working with a first time director and young actors to achieve a shot, my understanding of when to lead or follow, or to create or execute, make me a valuable asset to have on set.

I am a 1995 graduate of Ohio University with a BS in communications focusing on narrative single camera story telling. I have worked as A-cam/Steadicam op on feature films and network and streaming TV series in North Carolina, Louisiana, Texas, Puerto Rico, Georgia and South Carolina. Based in Wilmington, NC, I am happy to travel globally to bring my skillset and heart for excellence to exciting projects.
